The Memunat Single Mother and Child Initiative is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate volunteers who wanted to make a difference in the lives of single mothers and their children. We recognize that single mothers and their children face many difficulties and discrimination in our society, and we want to change that. Our slogan is "...empathise, not stigmatise." We believe that every single mother and child deserves respect, compassion and support.
We offer a range of programs and services to help single mothers and their children achieve their full potential. We provide them with access to quality education, vocational or entrepreneurship skills training, digital education, psycho-social and mental health support, nutrition assistance, mentorship and guidance. We also advocate for their rights and interests in various platforms and forums. Our aim is to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence, and to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
